My Story
I grew up at the intersection of two American traditions: bluegrass music at home and gospel music at church. It’s how I first learned to understand music, picking up the guitar through bluegrass and honing my craft as part of a dynamic gospel rhythm section. This foundation led me to become a multi-instrumentalist, fluent on guitar, bass, and drums.
To further my musical knowledge, I studied at a classical music school for two years, where I refined my skills as a cellist, composer, and theorist. This blend of traditions influences how I approach all music. I believe that every song is part of a collaborative conversation that has been going on for thousands of years. To create the best art, we must participate in that conversation.

My background means I don’t just hear a song—I hear its musical bones, its structure, and its potential. When we work together, I bring more than just 6 years of production experience to the table; I bring a holistic musical perspective. I can build an entire rhythm section with a live-band feel, arrange a string section with classical precision, or find the perfect instrumentation to give your modern pop track a timeless and organic soul.
